Endodontics
Root canal therapy—also known as endodontic treatment—is a highly skilled procedure designed to save teeth that are infected, damaged, or causing persistent pain. At the OSDP we are proud to offer advanced endodontic care provided by Dr David Cohen and Carl Paisley, both of whom bring extensive experience and clinical excellence to every case.
Whether you’re a patient seeking relief from toothache or a dentist referring a complex case, our team is equipped to deliver outstanding results using the latest techniques and technology.
What is Root Canal Treatment?
Root canal therapy involves removing infected or dead tissue from the inner canals of a tooth. These canals house the pulp—made up of nerves and blood vessels—which, when compromised, can lead to severe discomfort, swelling, and abscesses.
Once the infected tissue is removed, the canals are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sealed to prevent future infection. The tooth remains functional and is supported by the surrounding bone and gum tissue.
